What is the greatest concern we hear when discussing artificial grass options for homeowners and commercial clients?

Is the turf going to be hot?

The short answer to that question is “yes”. All artificial grass is made from either polyethylene, polypropylene, or nylon.  All three of those polymers will get hot in direct sunlight, particularly here in Phoenix when it is 100+ degrees outside.  Companies who tell you they have a “cool” fiber are not being accurate in their description of their products.

To combat the temperature issues with artificial grass, Arizona Artificial Lawns has gone beyond what any other turf distributors have offered by adding pigments to the fibers to help reduce the amount of heat absorbed and introducing T° Cool evaporative cooling infill.

Evaporative cooling for artificial grass is the only method demonstrated in the field to reduce temperatures more than 10 to 15 degrees.  With the combination of our heat reducing technology in the fiber and T° Cool infill, clients can see a temperature reduction of more than 40 degrees F for the turf, a much greater reduction than has ever been attainable.

To find out more about Arizona Artificial Lawns’s proprietary, temperature-reducing system, please call us at 623-584-1456. Current clients in Arizona include homeowners, resorts, and retail outlets with outdoor entertainment areas.
